Westerns and Their Mustaches

A great western is hard to beat. Action, drama, fantastic actors, wonderful costumes, elegant set pieces and beautiful scenic locations... they've got it all. Oh, and they've usually got some great mustaches.

There is no better movie for mustaches than Tombstone.

Tim

1. Tombstone

You tell 'em I'm coming, and this 'stache is coming with me!

2. Unforgiven

If Morgan Freeman wants to go with a beard, we won't complain.

3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Same goes for Clint Eastwood.

4. The Quick and the Dead

We're glad that Sharon Stone didn't have a 'stache.

5. Blazing Saddles

Without that Arthur Blank-like 'stache, Harvey Korman couldn't do that voodoo that he do so well.

Dave

1. Tombstone

This mustache should be in the Smithsonian.

2. Shane

Go ahead, give Jack Palance grief about being clean shaven. He'll taunt you, then kill you.

3. Unforgiven
4. Blazing Saddles
5. The Magnificent Seven

When Yul Brynner goes clean shaven he goes clean shaven all the way. All the way.

Wes

1. Tombstone

Sam Elliot's mustache is a hero to all.

2. Unforgiven
3. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
4. Open Range

No one is more grizzled than Robert Duvall.

5. Maverick

James Garner's 'stache perfectly complimented his wardrobe.
